Solihull & Meriden Lib Dems select local school governor Charles Robinson as candidate in the March 1st by-election
Long-term local resident, school governor and former Parish Councillor Charles Robinson has been selected as the Lib Dem candidate for the Blythe by-election on March the 1st.
Charles is hoping to continue serving his local community as a hard-working Lib Dem councillor, following in the footsteps of the popular, frequently re-elected Lib Dem councillors serving other wards and to provide another voice in opposition to the Tory-led council’s constant cuts.
Reacting to his selection, he said, “It’s an honour to be selected for the ward I have called home since 2001. I’m looking to build on my work as the vice-chair of Dickens Heath Primary School’s governors, where I have been heavily involved in the recent development of the specialist Additional Resource Centre for children with additional needs (the first of its kind in Solihull borough)."
