Olton Car Crime Campaign Launch

Councillor John Windmill and campaigner Jo Fairburn have launched a campaign to reduce car crime in Olton. Many residents have spoken to them about the subject recently.

The Olton Car Crime campaign aims to reduce crime and assist residents

Reducing car crime is also the focus of the neighbourhood policing team, with over 150 people affected every year, so the Olton Lib Dems have compiled a list of tips and warnings so that residents can avoid becoming victims.

Included is a timely warning about the dangers of remote locking fobs.

Jo appealed to Olton residents to get in touch with the police whenever they see anything suspicious, and to contact the Olton Ward team if they feel that their street lighting is too dim or there are any other car crime risks near their homes.
