My appeal to you

I'm writing to ask you to consider voting for me on May the 3rd in the Council elections. I have represented Olton for many years, and I promise to work to ensure it remains a good place to live, work, play and raise a family.

It’s been a real privilege representing you and, being retired, I have the time to dedicate to this and my interest is in local matters.

If you re-elect me in May I will continue to fight for more resources and better services - in particular:
Crime and Policing - A growing concern in Olton. I’ll work to keep Police resources in Solihull, in spite of the squeeze on budgets
NHS and Social Care - Fighting for more resources, and to retain important services at Solihull Hospital
Housing - Decent homes for young people in the Borough, at reasonable cost
Education - Schools struggling with increasing costs and limited budgets
Olton Ward - Our ward contains pockets of deprivation, and is often ignored by the ruling Conservatives

Helping Individual Residents in Need

Most of our time as Lib Dem Councillors isn’t spent in Council meetings, but helping residents with their problems when they don’t know where to turn next.

I’ve represented Olton for over 40 years, and enjoy helping people like you with issues, big and small.

I hope you’ll re-elect me on the 3rd of May.

Yours faithfully,

John

Labour can’t win in Olton

Olton-election resultOn May 3rd it’s a choice between the Tories and Lib Dems.

In the last Council elections we narrowly beat the Tories.

The Tories have a huge majority on Solihull Council. To prevent it getting even bigger vote to re-elect John Windmill.

A vote for Labour could let the Tories in
