Conservative council bosses are giving away £10.5 million to a big private development company while cutting your services.

Shirley Parkgate developers were supposed to repay the council £10.5 million after building on three acres of local parkland and cutting down the ancient Ring of Oaks.

However at a secret meeting senior Conservatives decided to cancel the debt.

£10.5 million could pay for many of your local services which the council has recently cut. If you were in charge, what would you spend £10.5 million on?

· Neighbourhoods in Bloom – cut by £15,000
· Pest control – cut by £100,000
· Youth Offending & Justice – cut by £53,000
· Children’s social care – cut by £240,000
· Foster care – cut by £540,000
· Green waste collections – cut by £186,000
· Lollipop men and ladies – cut by £17,000
· Streetlighting – cut by £224,000
