Solihull Liberal Democrats took two council seats from the Tories in the 2019 local elections.

2 Lib Gains from the Tories in Solihull

The Lib Dem team at the count on May 3rd

Lib Dems took both Elmdon and Lyndon wards from the conservatives at the May 2nd polls.

Your new Lib Dem councillors are Peter Davies in Elmdon (photo below, left) and Kathryn Thomas in Lyndon (photo below, right).

Across the country Liberal Democrats took seats from both Labour and the Tories. In terms of net gains, this is our best set of local elections in the history of the Liberal Democrats. We made net gains of well over 600 which puts us above our previous 1995 high of 487.
