My name is Ade Adeyemo and I am the Liberal Democrats Councillor for Lyndon Ward in Solihull. I am also Leader of the Liberal Democrat group on Solihull Council and Spokesperson for Growth and Infrastructure.
I have been involved in Lib Dem campaigns with Lorely Burt and our campaigns Team throughout the Borough.
I have been a Solihull resident for over 18 years and I am passionate about our Borough. Solihull is a lovely place to live and work and I feel that we must work very hard to keep it that way.
Personal and Professional
I am a Chartered Civil Engineer and Risk Management Professional, working in the Insurance sector.
I used to be a keen rugby player, starting at school and moving on to University in Scotland. After I left university, I played for Andover RFC, Maidstone RFC and Birmingham & Solihull RFC.
I am now a (retired) Rugby Football Union (RFU) Referee and Adviser with the Warwickshire Society.
In my spare time I am a keen amateur photographer and was a Presenter on Radio Sandwell. I am also actively involved in a number of local Voluntary and Community Associations.
