Councillor Glenis Slater

Councillor Glenis SlaterGlenis Slater is a Liberal Democrat Councillor for the Elmdon Ward and the Liberal Democrat representative on Planning Committee.

Glenis was first elected as Councillor for Elmdon Ward in the May 2008 local elections. Since then, she has held a number of important positions on Council Boards for education, neighbourhood services, health, planning, and disability services.

Glenis was also Mayor of Solihull 2015-16.

A former member of the Birmingham Heartlands & Solihull NHS Trust Council of Governors, Glenis was also a member of the Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Advisory Forum and the Standing Advisory Committee on Religious Education.

Glenis Slater was re-elected for a third term as Councillor for Elmdon in the May 2016 local government elections.
