Elmdon and Damson Parks CCTV

Following ongoing anti-social behaviour in Elmdon Park and Damson Park recently we are calling on Solihull Council to provide CCTV cameras for Damson Park and the lower end of Elmdon Park (the Church Car Park is currently covered by CCTV).

In recent months anti social behaviour in the parks has included:

- Abusive behaviour from some people gathering in the parks

- Theft of property

- Two cars were driven on to Elmdon Park and set alight

- A stabbing in Elmdon Park

In addition to providing the Police with evidence needed to prosecute in the case of crimes, CCTV would bring reassurance to the community and hopefully discourage anti-social behaviour.

We, the undersigned, call on SMBC to install CCTV cameras in Elmdon Park and Damson Lane Park.

UPDATE: We have now submitted this application to Solihull Council. Thank you to every one who signed.
