20 is plenty for Mason's Way

Recently, Michael Carthew & our Olton Liberal Democrat team have been talking to residents on Masons Way and Masons Close about local issues and doing our best to fix them. We are always available to listen to your concerns.

Residents on Mason's Way have overwhelmingly told us that speeding is a huge concern for them and that they fear for their safety without action.

Speeds are regularly excessive on the road and recently a local cat was hit by a speeding car. Families have told us that they are scared for the safety of their children.

Olton Campaigner Michael Carthew said, "This behaviour is incredibly dangerous and people living on Mason's Way are worried that it is just a matter of time before there is a really serious accident. That is why I am calling for the council to be proactive, take action and implement a 20mph zone.”

We, the undersigned, call on Solihull Council to look into and implement a 20mph zone on Mason's Way.

Thank you

Michael Carthew
