The developers, Applegreen, have now put in their Planning Application for a Motorway Service Area (MSA) on farm land next to Junction 4, on Gate Lane. Please tell us what you think using the form below.
The plans include:
- An additional slip road lane, southbound on the M42
- Widening Gate Lane to four lanes - three of them westbound for traffic leaving the services towards the Stratford Road
- Changes to the elevated roundabout at junction 4 - adding a new lane, and removing the footpath
- A new pedestrian and cycle bridge across the M42
