On Thursday 4th May the polls open to elect a new Mayor to lead the West Midlands. Liberal Democrat Beverley Nielsen promises radical change.
Beverley Nielsen has had a successful career in business and education across the region.
Beverley said: “As your Mayor, my priority will be to give our region a bigger voice and ensure that this Tory Government, so intent on cuts, does not pass us by. I will ensure that Solihull’s interests are protected, for example if the imminent combining of Solihull and Birmingham’s NHS commissioning goes ahead. I will work tirelessly to promote Solihull’s interests, and ensure these are not drowned out by neighbouring Labour-run councils.”
Parliamentary Candidate for Solihull Ade Adeyemo said: “Beverley has been an impressive figure across the West Midlands for many years. Her experience and vision is just what we need at this time.”
