We are proud to formally introduce your prospective next Liberal Democrat MP for Meriden and Solihull East, Sunny Virk.

Sunny, who grew up locally, is an experienced Barrister and Mediator. After he was selected, he spoke about the challenges he faces:

"During the next General Election campaign I will hold the Conservatives to account for their failings.

“Meriden and Solihull East deserves an MP who will represent the people and be a strong voice in Parliament. With your support I pledge to do just that."

At the next general election, Elmdon will be part of the newly-formed Meriden and Solihull East constituency.

This change will not affect your vote in local council elections, which will continue with Kate Jones as your Lib Dem Council candidate.

Kate and Sunny will work tirelessly to mend our broken public services and continue championing a fairer society for all.
