Save our Bus!

We were shocked to learn recently that the number 73 bus was being replaced by a new 98/99 service with the removal of the Old Lode Lane route to Heartlands Hospital.

Many local residents rely on this well used route to get them to Heartlands Hospital for appointments and treatment, or to visit loved ones in the hospital in difficult times. Removing this vital link will have a huge impact on the community - particular some of our most vulnerable residents.

Please sign our petition to Transport for West Midlands requesting that the route be edited to join Hobs Moat Road at the Wheatsheaf, travel down Hobs Moat Road and up Old Lode Lane to re-join the Wheatsheaf in a loop. No passengers would lose their service, but Hobs Moat Road and Old Lode Lane would have their service re-instated.
