Olton Lib Dem team on Swanswell road in snow

Sign our petition for speeding action on Swanswell Road

We request that Solihull Council installs platform junctions at the intersections of Swanswell Road and Brookfield Way and the junction of Swanswell Road and Merecote Road (between Number 73 & 75 Swanswell Road) to tackle speeding in the area.

We are requesting this to address the issue of excessive speeding in this area, often leading to heavy breaking on the turns of the road to avoid a collision. This has been an ongoing issue for many years in this area, which is a heavily used road serving four schools and which is also used by cyclist, for school cycling proficiency lessons, and by learner drivers.

We feel that platform junctions would enhance the safety of this heavily used school route.

Please sign our petition if you agree.
